  • Amish Patel’s life began as a classic fish out of two waters tale. From a young age he gained perspectives on both Indian and Canadian cultures and learned to deal with discrimination and xenophobia through humour. Amish loved comedy from day one but he still obtained an Aerospace Engineering degree. After literally becoming a rocket scientist, Amish recently booked a leading role on a kids’ comedy show with the Emmy-Award winning ​ Sinking Ship​, which will premiere this year on TVO, Amazon and Nickelodeon. He has also appeared on ​ Saving Hope, Man Seeking Woman​, and ​Odd Squad​. As a stand up he recently opened for Saturday Night Live ​ alumni Tim Meadows, and Iliza Schlesinger. His original sketch comedy show Melting Pot​ is currently being developed for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. And, Amish knows how airplanes work. Did we cover that? Great!

Nichloas Reynoldson
  • Hailing from Scarborough, Ontario, Nick Reynoldson has a unique view of the world. Sharp, smart and energetic this young comic is quickly on the rise. A regular performer at Colleges and Universities across North America. Earning a COCA Comedian of the year nomination. As well as appearances in major festivals and television including; Just For Laughs, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, JFL42 New Faces, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Winner of Absolute Comedy’s Prove You’re a Headliner Competition, NXNE, MTV, MUCH, as well as multiple commercials. He’s not to miss.

Brandon Ash-Mohammed
  • He’s a Tim Sims Award nominated comedian, a Telefilm New Voices Award winning writer, and the creator of The Ethnic Rainbow (Canada’s first & only comedy show for LGBT comedians of colour). Brandon has opened for Julio Torres, James Adomian, Chris Redd, Mo Amer, Cipha Sounds, and has been featured on Baron Vaughn’s New Negroes live show. Over the summer of 2018, he made appearances at prestigious festivals such Field Trip Festival, Just For Laughs Montreal, and JFL42. Brandon just finished a run on Second City Mainstage for their current sketch revue The Best Is Yet To Come Undone. Most recently, he was named a Breakout Artist of 2018 by Now Magazine.

Harpreet Ess
  • Harpreet is a Toronto based stand-up comedian, improviser, writer and actor. She is an alumni of Second City’s Toronto’s Longform Conservatory and Sketch Conservatory programs, and regularly performs stand-up all over Canada and the US. She’s headlined the Lady Laughs Comedy Festival in Wisconsin and the Chicago Women’s Funny Festival, and was featured in the North Carolina Comedy Festival and the 6th Borough Comedy Festival in New Jersey. She coproduces and hosts The Darjeelings of Comedy, showcasing South Asian identifying females, and The Anti-Token Comedy Show featuring comedians of colour in Toronto. Harpreet is the creator and star of a web series called INDIE-pendent.

  • Vandad Kardar is the yearly co host of 420 Toronto, co creator of White Mans Burden podcast with Amish Patel. Vandad is an experienced performer & show runner. He spent many many hours in Brampton as a child as his family ran a Bollywood movie theatre, Vandad and his friends would sit in the projector room and simultaneously watch 3 films at a time. He still cant speak any hindi but hes got a few of those dances memorised and is excited to show them off at Bollywood Monster Mash

  • Parichay, is an Indo-Canadian Bollywood Music Composer, Producer & Singer/Songwriter. With 3 studio albums under his belt, his biggest break came in 2016 when he became the first ever non-resident Indian to do 4 out of 5 songs in a mainstream Bollywood film for production powerhouse, Tips, including the mega hit Bollywood track ‘Peene Ki Tamanna’.

    In addition to collaborating with some of the biggest artists in the Bollywood music industry, he has also worked with Bollywood A-list actors such as Nargis Fakhri & Sonakshi Sinha as well as international artists such as Sean Kingston, Canadian Rap legend, Kardinal Offishall, and multi-platinum, Grammy winning producer, Boi-1Da.

    Parichay has over 100 Million views on his music on YouTube and has toured the world performing at over 500 events. He is currently working on his 4th studio album titled “Moodz” that is said to have a never-heard-before hybrid sound called “Bolly-Trap”.

  • The Yuan Yin Group was created by a team of scholars and professors from the China’s top universities and educators from the provincial government in 1920. The group held a strong belief that music can act as a common language shared between various cultures, that music could help connect people to with each other, and could be used as an education tool. Their beliefs and passion for music has helped their legacy grow and expand from its origin in China and into North America and Europe.

    Performance from Yuan Yin Group is featuring Chinese Zither (GuZheng), with over 2000 years history, music brings us (such a diverse population here in Canada) together, from East to West.

  • Talented, energetic, passionate and diverse are just some of the many words that describe The Band Destiny (TBD). TBD is a Toronto based West Indian Crossover band that was formed in 2007. They are the three time winners of the CMEA award for Top Soca Band in Canada. Currently the members include; Stephen Nanan (Founder/Keyboardist), Curtis B (Vocalist), Kiran Dindial (Drummer), Kamela Singh (Keyboardist/Vocalist), Vijai Ramdath (Engineer), Celine Nanan (Rhythm & Machines), Darren Armoogam (Guitarist/Vocalist) and Logun (Vocalist). Together they make up The Band Destiny, creating a fusion of music that incorporates Soca, Reggae, R&B, Chutney, Hindi Remixes.

  • Staasia Daniels is an R&B singer/songwriter/turtle-lover from Toronto who emerged from her shell and shared with the world her “Hidden Gems” in 2016: a debut EP that garnered attention, fans, and a confirmation that her decision to pursue music seriously after years of singing was indeed the right one.

    A year later, Staasia reveals another love: of food, with the release of one of her top songs, “Peanut Butter”, which ultimately became a part of her second major EP, “Mood Roulette”.

    By this time, Staasia has received recognition from top publications including NOW, Exclaim!, and Complex, and has electrified the stages at SXSW, A3C, CMW, NXNE, and popular venues including Toronto’s Mod Club and her own headlining shows at Drake Underground and Rivoli.

    Spotify streams are in the hundreds of thousands and constantly growing, especially with the release of her latest EP, “Whatever Happens Happens”, and whatever is happening seems to be propelling her towards the stardom she exudes.

  • Randy Persaud is a prolific character in Peel Region who champions many events throughout his community. Charged as the cities’ Hypemachine, Randy is one of the most sought after hosts, announcers and community producers in city.

    A charismatic Rogers Television personality for over 7 years, Randy has hosted a variety of programs from Talk Local, Local Notes, Carassauga Pre-Show, The MARTY Awards Kickoff show and Cable 10 Live.

    He has worked with high profile CBC productions such as Hockey Night in Canada, The Olympic Summer and Winter Games, Dragons Den, Rick Mercer and many more.

    A former boxing ring announcer for Boxing Ontario, Randy has hosted events at arenas and stadiums around southern Ontario. He has hosted crowds of over 80,000 for many events from the Bollywood Monster Mashup, Youth Day, MAC Arts Festival, Mississauga Waterfront Festival, The Pan Am Games and Carassauga.

    In 2016, Randy won the Creative Community award by the Mississauga Arts Council at the MARTY Awards for his work in the community. His award was recognized by the Honourable MP Iqra Khalid in the House of Commons.
